The Microsoft Hellhounds are one of the top teams in robot soccer world wide. To achieve this we always need the newest robots and equipment. For this reason we want to make the "older" robots available to schools nearby free of charge.
The project: This project is directed to teachers from Dortmund and the nearby cities. It requires very good C++ skills from the teacher and a high motivation and an adequate development environment at the school. Our software need Visual Studio 6 or Visual Studio .NET and Windows 2000 or Windows XP as the operating system.
We provide you a modular robot software. This is basically the German-Team code which won the Robocup World Championship in 2004. The robots can be freely programmed: walking, acoustic signals, scratching ears .. . But don't forget that the robot contains a real computer. You can also implement every typical educational assignments like sorting and binary search trees.
