National and International Championships

National and International Championships

The Microsoft Hellhounds take part at several Robocup competitions. The main competitions are the German Open in Paderborn and the Robocup World Championship.

In the past the Microsoft Helhounds cooperated with the University of Bremen, the Humboldt University in Berlin and the TU Darmstadt as GermanTeam to participate at the world championship. In other competitions the teams were taking part independently. In 2005 the Hellhounds decided to leave the GermanTeam because the size of the team got too large.

Japan-Open 2004, Osaka, Japan 2nd Place Technical Challenge

Australian-Open 2004, Sydney, Australia 3rd Place

Achievements 2003:

Robocup World Championship 2003, Padua, Italy, 1st Place Technical Challenge (Soccer Competition: quarter finals)

German-Open 2003, Paderborn, Germany 3rd Place

Achievements 2002:

Robocup 2002 Fukuoka, Japan

reached quarter final.
